I created this app to help patients prepare for their appointments and have access to useful information before during and after their appointment with me. I see lots of different people. Some know exactly what they want and come in looking to have their surgery done yesterday while others can feel a little overwhelmed by the choice of anaesthesia and wonder if they even need the procedure recommended by the dentist (spoiler alert they usually do).
Whilst I want to support people who are busy or in pain and speed them towards their surgery in an efficient timely manner I am also mindful that some others just need more time and a chance to chat. This is why I offer two different appointment types based on peoples needs. I will always offer people the opportunity to walk away and have a think about things and rebook when they are ready but I hope that the information to be found here will answer some questions or provide food for thought so that the people needing more time can confidently decide and commit to a procedure after their first appointment.
Usually the questions you need to answer before booking are Do you know what procedure you want and what type of anaesthesia you will feel comfortable with having the procedure?
Once you know this it would be useful to have any health insurance details available for your call to the receptionist who will be able to advise you on the right appointment for you and the likely costs involved.
