Our services
MaxFacs Oral Surgery provides specialist surgical care for conditions of the mouth, teeth and jaws. All treatment is provided by Mr David Chin-Shong, a dual-qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with fellowship training in craniofacial surgery.
We offer a range of anaesthesia options for every procedure, including local anaesthetic, TCI (Target Controlled Infusion) IV sedation with comprehensive physiological monitoring, and general anaesthesia at Bowen Hospital. Our approach is to understand each patient’s individual needs and provide clear information so you can make confident decisions about your care.
We accept referrals from dentists across the Wellington region and see patients at five locations.
Wisdom Teeth Removal
We have a range of options for safe and efficient removal of wisdom teeth.
Dental Implants
For people who need dental implants to replace missing teeth.
Dental Extractions
We also offer surgical extractions of teeth that may be more complex than some dentists feel comfortable removing.

When required we take biopsies for lumps, bumps and other unusual things inside the mouth.
