Dental Implants
We can provide patients with safe and efficient surgical solutions.
Why get them?
Dental Implants are a great option for replacing teeth after injury, accident or illness which resulted in the loss of the teeth. Dental implants provide a permanent solution to restoring a beautiful smile.
David uses BlueSkyBio technology to digitally plan the placement of the implant for accuracy in order to optimise results.
Placement of implants by a specialist can be done quickly and accurately.
Patients have the option of having IV sedation to make the experience more comfortable.
We’re here to guide you every step of the way
How Implants Work
A dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth. It is placed into the jawbone and, over approximately three months, bonds with the surrounding bone in a process called osseointegration. Once this bond is established, your dentist can attach the crown or prosthetic tooth to the implant.
Before placement, David plans each implant using virtual surgery. This involves taking a 3D digital X-ray (CBCT scan) of your jaw and a 3D intraoral scan of your teeth. Using this data, a custom surgical guide is designed and manufactured, which is then tested for fit before the procedure. This planned approach allows precise positioning of the implant relative to the bone, nerves and adjacent teeth.
In the event of implant failure, we will replace it at no additional surgical fee. The cost of any new crown remains the responsibility of your restoring dentist’s arrangement with you.
If you have questions about whether implants are suitable for your situation, we’re happy to discuss this at a consultation — or your referring dentist is welcome to contact David directly to discuss your case.
